Shecky's Girls Night Out Event (Review)

Good morning to all you Fabulous women out there. Last night I went to New York. I was there to review a Girl's night out event put on by Shecky's an online and event destination for the up and coming trendy products in fashion and beauty. I arrived to find a little chaos. I suggest that if you attending any of there events to go early. The line was formed around the building. I was lucky to not have to wait. I walked around to see the vendors. There was an assortment of Jewelry,skin care,wigs,teeth whitening,eye lash extensions,hair curling systems. What I did notice is how the women were reacting to the free drinks. There wasn't any food other than sandwiches that you had to purchase and cupcake samples. The vendors that had demonstrations such as jewelry cleaning were cleaning rings but getting very little sales. I found the event to be fun if you wanted a night out with friends have some cocktails and shop. I was overwhelmed by the amount of Jewelry booths. A lot of repeats. There were a few things I found to be fabulous.

All in all the night was fun. The place was hopping. The Dj keep the vibe alive and the drinks never stop pouring. The Goody bags were filled with some good products and coupons. Cuddly and soft OH My! Douglas cuddle toys CLOSED!

So soft so cute.. I always melt when I see a really cute,soft stuffed animal. Well that is just what I do when I see Douglas Cuddle Toys . I saw Douglas toys at the NYGS. There were so many new stuffed animals. I had so many x-mas gifts picked out and couldn't wait for these to hit out local toy store. My kids are big stuffed animal lovers. Every time we go on vacation My kids always a have to buy a stuffy.. That's what my husband and I call them. Douglas toys is a New England based company that has been around for over 30 years and has an amazing reputation for quality and customer service. Two things very hard to come by in this day and age. So after looking around their booth and taking a mental note of what I love ,I contacted the company after the show.. They have all the new couture dog breeds out.. Goldendoodles,Cockapoos, etc.. They are so stinking cute. Love them.. My kids couldn't get enough..They already started there wish list for x-mas...

I also loved the carry totes with the animal inside. Love the whole concept. Not only is it a carrier for your pet but your little princess can put her lip gloss,hair ties & pretend cell phone inside it.. Another Fabulous find, the quilted owl handbag another NEW and Fabulous product. Go check out there site. Start shopping for birthday presents and holiday gifts. It's never too early.. I start now so I can enjoy December.. Baking,cooking,decorating.. Who wants to shop when the malls are crazy and the Internet is on overload and most of all 9 out of 10 times things will be out of stock.. So take my advice go to Douglas toys and shop away.. Well a start to a new week. Products are coming in and I am getting ready to put together my up and coming Giveaways. So on your end I want feedback. If you have seen the products or owned a product from the company on Review. I would love to hear what you have to say. I have said it before Us women are the main spenders and we want to buy good things for ourselves and our families.. I chose only the best to write about.. I look for quality,uniqueness,Taste (Yes, I'll try and write about food) and just all out fun. I want you all to be my Fab Friends so make sure you sign in and leave the rest to me..You will be up on the new items every time they are added.

To go off the subject a little well actually a lot but it still has to do with product and shopping.. How is it that we now look at pounds and shelters to get our pet for our family but we still buy new cars? What about buying used cars? Women are smart consumers.. Why would we want something that depreciates the minute you drive it away from the dealership. When we buy clothes they don't loose value right. When we buy anything for that matter they don't lose it's value. So why cars??? I'm stumped. There truly are amazing used cars out there that may only be a couple years old and have low miles. I think this is the way to go. I always bought a car that was only two years old probably only 24,000 miles on it.. They are great. I still do my blue book research and consumer reports to get the low down but I have always been happy. So keep getting your pets at the shelters and pounds.. But keep in mind of the used car dealerships they too have cars that need homes,need to be driven.. Just a little thought I had after reading my home page this morning and read
